Overview

Manages multiple project contracts within a district or division.

What you will be doing

  • Reviews and analyzes contract management records to provide technical advice or project control guidance.
  • Assists with cost controls reporting and reconciliation of project cost reporting for one District or Mega Project and provides District or Project reporting to Project Controls Director for Division level reports.
  • Assists scheduling process and support for District or Mega Project, including bid phase and project schedule creation, monthly reporting and schedule update,
  • Assists with integration of Company systems to track, monitor and control costs or schedule. Ensures accurate training and utilization of approved systems for project document control and reporting.
  • Performs regular project reviews and monitors the job cost report against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinates with Division Claims/Contract Manager in tracking and monitoring change order and claims preparation and resolution
  • Tracks activities around unsecured revenue and project contingencies.
  • Tracks of over/under billing to monitor and control project cash flow.
  • Assists with resource and cost loading to the schedule, including labor projections, equipment and material projections, and productivity trend reporting to accurately forecast project costs and project financial outcome.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
  • Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
  • 7+ years’ experience in construction engineering, project management or project controls required.
  • Proven expertise in cost control, scheduling, and change management.
  • Developing negotiation skills.
  • Developing leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of construction contract agreements and change order processes required.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, including construction accounting, required.
  • Able to identify cost reduction strategies in schedule, quantities or contract specifications that align with project budget and design specification requirements.
  • Ability to conduct in-person and online project controls training to district personnel.

USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Salary Max
