In this role, you will monitor and update multiple schedules, coordinating timelines and resources to keep projects on track.

What you will be doing

  • Keeps project schedules and narratives up to date with the latest production and budget information from engineers, project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams. 
  • Conducts monthly analyses of schedule update reports with the project team, including on-site visits. 
  • Updates company-preferred programs to reflect schedule progression and financial reporting. 
  • Delivers project status reports to direct managers and Project Managers for weekly and monthly update meetings.  
  • Actively participates in preparation meetings to ensure the Project Manager is fully informed of the project’s status. 
  • Evaluates and analyzes production progress, identifying potential risks to the schedule or budget.  
  • Proactively recommends solutions to mitigate any project delays. 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering preferred. 
  • Construction project, estimating, or scheduling commercial construction experience preferred.  
  • Primavera experience from college courses or construction work required. 
  • Ability to self-prioritize and self-start projects and task work. 
  • Ability to effectively multi-task similar activities in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.  
  • Willing and able to learn scheduling activities, process flows and operations management methods. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  
  • Basic understanding of constructability issues and ability to read construction drawings 
  • Strong computer skills including the ability to use word processing, spread sheets, etc. and entry-level skills in P6 based scheduling software
